All i know is you need 1.6 litres of oil for the gearbox.

get it from vauxhall its not expensive, they sell it in litre bottles and its good stuff. same for oil too

ahhh i'll take a stab in the dark and say that if you buy a quality gearbox oil then it will be suitable!!

what i want is the range of viscosity of the gear oil which is suitable for the f13 gearbox !!

I think it has to be specific gearbox oil? Dont get stroppy over it!

Not the sort of thing people change often so not usually the thing that people know exact details for. If your just after some transmission fluid for your gearbox just go to a local motorshop and ask them, or ring up a local vauxhall service place

IT is most certainly NOT ATF

It is EP80/90 gear oil

Many people make the mistake of using atf as vauxhall gear oil has a red die in it.

aft has better qualitys and is synthetic there for gives a smoother gear change i have always run mine on it and is been ok for the last 30.000 miles

j100 your totally right in using atf fluid , but this is known for casing problems, i.e leaking driveshaft seals and gaskets. its best to use ep 80/90 coz this is a little thicker, this is better for older gearbox's
