The car utilizes Rover and Ford ECUs so Dreadnought had to come up with a way of getting everything to communicate correctly. There is an extra loom they install and it's about a week's work from them for it to be a turn key conversion. .

Have you got any details on the ECU?

No Dave.

You'd probably be able to get part numbers from someone on X-Power forums though. There's some good knowledge on there.

The Dreadnought folks are registered on there and so is at least one of the development team from Longbridge.

Did you put the SE wheels on Dave or were they on it when you bought it?

It came with the Apex's.. Freshly re-furbed too! The previous owner was asking if he knocked £500 off the price if he could keep the wheels... No way!

Have to say I'm pleasantly supprised as the build quality! Theres a little bit of wind noise in the cabin at high speed but other than that its a very solid car!

Martin Hadland has a Touring. He's changed the mirrors to the MK I shape (they are more tear drop shaped) and says that it reduces the high speed wind noise.

Ah ok, I retract that statement then They obviously made a decent effort with this one then!

The ZR, ZS and TF's I've worked on are all horrendous - pieces falling off, rattling, very loose etc at 30K miles etc
