Hello

2nd post on here, so be nice

I'd personally get the VTR. Though there's so much you can do to a corsa (unlike Rovers ), you can do tons more to a VTR. There are some sweet body kits for both cars, but the VTR's and VTS's handle like a dream. After playing in both at Donnington

As for the wasting Golf GTi with a 1.4 Corsa. I'd make sure he was trying first. As Golf GTi's are damn quick. If you're after proof, why not get a group (or even all of you ) to come to santa pod and race one. then we'll see. I've had a 1.6GSi up the strip and i beat him by a second. 16.9s @81mph my best

Sorry if i've offended anyone.

Ste

Mini-turbo what you going on about? The 1600XE engine found in the Corsa Super1600's push out around 250bhp, with no forced induction! Mighty strong engine from the same family as the legendary 20xe!

Nah my 1.6 Sport is quicker than the VTR. I have wasted a few of them now. XE power all the way baby! Oh and i heard that Velos are producing a 300bhp kit for the X16XE engine.
Includes- Multiple Throttle Bodies
DTA Programmable Engine Management System
Engine Management Wiring Loom and Full Map
Coil Pack
High Lift & Duration Cam Shafts
Modified Cylinder Head
High Capacity Injectors
Velos Modified Engine Block
Velos Modified Pistons
Velos Modified Conrods
High Tensile Rod Bolts
Optional Launch Control and Shift Lights
Assembly of engine
Power- 165bhp at flywheel for 1400 XE
185bhp at flywheel for 1600 XE
Cost- £4900 ready to fit (exchange engine required)

They are saying that a 30psi turbo conversion is in the works. Come on Lottery!
