I Need Some Assistanc e Ive Now Got A lovely Carbon Bonnet For My Ickle Corsa Its Looks Stunning But For One Small Little Thing:
The finish is really poor on it. its like the top layer hasnt been done properly. Can i get the top layer done again or is there another way of improving the finish. When I mean the finish is poor what i mean is that is some areas the finish is super but in others the finish is very rough like running ur hand over sand paper and other parts the fnish has speckles in it..
Regards
Stu

you could probably rub it down with fine wet/dry paper and have it laquered again, but i'd take it to a spray shop for an opinion

yeah i can understand where ur comming from about not wanting to wait, maybe its worth getting an opinion and cost for fixing it, then contacting the person u got it off, see if you can work out a deal with them on the cost of fixing it?

I would of thought if it was a company who uses this board that they would be here trying to at least defend themselves or trying to sort it out.
Sounds like a chance to put in some good service but they missed it

LOts of laquer and flatting it off with VERY fine wet and dry should do the trick. Personally I'd negotiate with the seller to see if you can have £100-£150 off it, otherwise you'll be sending it back for a FULL refund please.

LOL get a quote to fix it and see if they will pay it, or say if not you want another one.

When your fished with it cut some holes in it or stick a vent on and sell it
