Author corsa c18xe incorrect rpm signal

put a c18xe in my corsa but if i put my foot down hard the light comes on and restricts it to 4500 rpm and when i scan it it says incorrect rpm signal i switch it off i switch it off and back on again and runns fine and fast if i put my foot down slowly i have changed the crank sensor and temp switch but still the same looking for ideals
