That will be tomorrow's investment then!

I use one of these (this is what p90x basically recommends anyway)

Door way pull up bar, doesn't need to be fixed to any door way... it just clamps in and out and works fine! (check youtube vids)

mine's called iron gym.

I have that Iron Gym one same as you Paul, the first Days workout i pulled myself up during the overhand pullups and accidentally took my weight off the bar somehow, it unhooked its self and i ended up on my back on the floor other than that little incident its been spot on.

didn't you just complain about not being bothered to change the weight of the weights inbetween exercises?

I'm getting some more so i have them lying around to pick up.

All you do is twist the thing to what weight you want and thats it, you pick it up and its done.

Slightly different to unscrewing the thing, adding the weights, etc. etc.

A 2-21kg fixed weight set would cost way more than twice that - the cheapest 1-10kg set was £250!

May get it ordered tomorrow me thinks, will save me a load of hassle tbh.

My pull up bar won't fit because my door frames are too chunky

I've seen them fit really thick doors before in videos. Any other doors in the house you can use?

maybe you got a rip off version?

Dave (Captain_Rosco) off here, bought a iron gym bar off ebay and got some cheap chinese immitation one made by 'miniqt' or something - basically found it wouldn't clamp hard to any door

maybe that's the same with you?

Cosmo, I just had a look at vids about the bowflex... those dumbells look too big! stop you doing some of the moves as it'll hit your head / hit each other.
