Ive just bcome the proud owner of a y reg black sxi for a bargain price of £4800 so hav bout a grand spare cash. Its all standard. Wot u reckon i should get first?

dont bother with ice and kits - especially dont bother with a kit if you are keeping the standard alloys

16's lowered 60mm!!! gas shocks and a back box should see and hear a noticeable improvement!!! if ya can strecth to it maybe change the rear clusters?

Lowering it and putting alloys on makes it look so much better! Plus the grip is improved with the wider alloys and the handling is improved with the suspension

Just get something like the gmax suspension kit for £200ish... and get some 2nd hand nice alloys...

If it was me, get a decent suspension set up eg, Bilstein, and upgrade your brakes eg, 284mm discs.

As your engine is only a 1.2, your not going to win any races in a straight line, but round the bends you will!

Heres a diff recomendation, if u value looks more than engine mods (which u have to with a 1.2!) may as well get it fully colour coded, a front splitter, alloys and lowerin springs, if ur patient im sure u could find the latter 2 second hand and have money left over ? Then at least it loooks the part and not for much, some skirts maybe, patients is the secret to bargains my friend.........
