hi, i have a corsa B and have got two 10" infinity subs in mi boot wi a 6 chanel amp, after a months of totally bangin the bass out, i have realised that there aint enuf bass,

so i would like to know if i can fit another two 12" subs in a boot as small as a corsa. I cannot have it showin, ie.in the back seats, cos it has recently been broken into and i dont want it happenin again.

and does anyone have any PICS wiv 4 subs ina boot.

cheers, LEG

Hahahaha, that's insanity matey! Hahahaha! It's like trying to fit a locomotive engine into the engine bay!

Why not just have 3 10's (i.e. get another infinity - have one in the middle, and the 2 on the side on angles)? Or 2 12's, or even 2 15's (dunno if that'll fit either - I'd imagine it would if they were mounted on angles)?

I think 2 10's and 2 12's might be a bit of an overkill! Hahahaha. If your mind's made though, post some pics when it's done! I wanna see!

Shiit! Krazy Kuntz! Hahahaha! And here I am with 1 12"! Haven't got it in my car yet. Building the box at the moment. Should be in over the weekend. It's my first sub (in my second car). Rather excited! Hahahaha.

Some of the best installs use one sub...
I wouldnt mix sub sizes you could end up with poor results. Try putting them into different enclosures, maybe even port them if youre not giving them too much juice...

cheers for ur comments guys, i think i have come up wiv a design to fit 4 10" subs in. If i put ports in the boxes will it give more bass, or not. cos i think 10s give too much punch.

Well, wen i save up for it all, i will definetely get some pictures of it up. Lets hope mi car doesnt get broken into again!!!

Hey dudes

Stick with the one size man. Thomas has a good point. With the different sizes, they'll bounce at slightly different times (you know what I mean), and you'll get muffled sound. With them all the one size, they'll punch together and give crisp, clean sound.

In a tiny car like a Corsa, I'd definately guess so!

Remember peeps, it's quality, not quantity

Personally, unless your competing the a very good quality 12" is enough in a Corsa (IMO)

The more air u move the louder it'll be. More speakers more air is moved. Only stick with one/two subs if ur going for SQ.

Yes but you could have 50subs in phase and 50subs out of phase together and you'll bearly get a fart!! NEVER MIX SUB SIZES... EVER! At certain frequencies a 10" could play out of phase or out of time besides a 12"sub.

Easy. Mount the 10s in the doors with 8inch mids, and have the 12s in the boot.

The day i see 10's in the doors of a corsa i'll... well i dunno but its hard enough getting 8's in! Anyone ever fitted a 10" or even an 8" in a corsa dash... i was toying with the idea a while back.

Is that a challenge?
I can fit 8s in there pretty easily, well, more easily than first thought.

im in the process of fittin a pair of 8's and a pair of components in the doors!! i think it could be done with 10's, but would be difficult makin a box big enough and not have it stick out to far!!!

Brahma 10" subs work in a 0.36 cubic foot box, so would fit in the doors, no problem.
