Yeah, i couldn't pass them up tbh Neil, i'm sure some other wheels with more 'poke' will probably find there way in sometime

I dunno about the light paint wheels against the overall dark look of the car. Might be something i could try in the future though. We'll see

Few pictures, centre caps on, but no badges yet

aaaaaaaand

All red rears, till i can find a better replacement (5 door SA's)

Also, not happy this morning, found a fairly deep scratch down the side of the car

That's the worst bit but it carries on to varying degrees down the side of the rear door too. Can't keep anything nice these days

Yea they do look like SAs that are on the 3 doors but 5 door ones , I always thought there was such thing and someone argued with me that there wasn't, so I left it at that.

Up theirs though because the video quite clearly has them

Cars coming together well now bud! Starting to look very nice

Yeah, they definately do look like SA's don't they. Cheers pretty happy with how it's coming along, just the ride height that i'm not happy with really. Still got a fair few things still to go though

Went to the scrappy today and obtained this -

electric boot popper solenoid from a ford fiesta. Hopefully should be able to get my boot sorted properly if the weather decides to turn nice this weekend.

lil update.

The weather turned nice over the bank holiday weekend so me and the old man got round to smoothing the boot lock. Here's a few pictures for those of you who don't like to read .
Fibreglassed

filler'd

and in primer, nice and smooth

might also notice a lil something else in the last one

That's about it, still gotta wire up the solenoid to a button but it's in and works a treat. Then paint the boot and get the spoiler back on, hopefully before PVS.
