Nah not Churchill as I couldn't do mods.

Went with Flux, cost for paying in one go was about £800-£850, I had to do it monthly though. 20 and 1 NCB, fully comp.

Maybe try Lloyds TSB out, they were the best for me last year (19, 0 NCB), the form looks exactly the same as Direct Line but it came out way cheaper. Paid £1300 for fully comp.

Fucking lol @ £700 on a 1.0 12v corsa.

No offence.

I paid about £600 for a 1.6 16v corsa when i was 18?

Why is yours so high? Dodgy post code? Claims? Said you're a traffic warden? No claims?

2 NCB. 21. Not a dodgey area. 1 claim. Commuting.

Whats the car even worth now? Can't be more than double that surely. I'd be thinking fully comp might not even be worth it unless I'm wholly wrong on value.

Went on Go Compare out of interest and put my mods on, Quinn are up the top with £3,732.38 and Performance Direct at the bottom at £971.70

They've added new questions in since I last used them like "Do you use the car late at night at the weekend?"

Elephant = £508 inc my dad. 12 month policy. Take off commuting = £497, so hardly any difference.

Not when I can get it for about £450 not inc. mods. Hopefully the high street broker my dad goes to will come up trumps.

About £1000 on the normal market. Less on here. Fully Comp is actually cheaper in most cases than TPFT.

Fair play, but seems silly to pay £500 a year on a £1000 car. If you did find TPFT cheaper somewhere I'd be seriously tempted.

If my insurance company would have done that I would have literally screamed at them down the phone for half an hour.

Hope you find a credible price.

My mum's late 40s hasn't made a claim in about 10 years, no convictions etc yet they won't insure her on a 1.8 BMW worth £500

I will probably go TPFT if it works out cheaper. The excess I'd pay is worth more than the car. However I hope to change Spring next year and will want fully comp then.
