sorry ment to be £3k, funked that up...typo lol

my xe with the s60, loom and mapping will owe me about £7-7.5k

the lad i used is shit hot and my mate who does all my machining for me for engine builds has used him for years, so i know it costs abit more, but i know its 100% spot on.

some place in warrington who do it iirc

+ ive moved into a much bigger unit now so been trying to organise that.

Hows the build going?

Did you use Astra G/Zafira A bolt on front hubs? I wish I had gone down that route on my Nova

Nah, i used manta b hubs with double wishbone setup. I had tapered bushes made for the steering arms so the track rod fits from the top instead of bottom so dont get bump steer.

Im taking the loom, seats, motor etc out this week to do firewal and get loom extended when off hopefully.

right thought id actually do something on my own car for a change, seeing as its been a while.

as i moved unit couple of months ago, ive been trying to sort the new unit, jobs for people and still do my 4on 4off shifts and before i start on a few more engines, i thought i should actually start moving forward with the car.

ill let pics do the talking. unfortunately i havent go any real start pics of the templating etc, but you will see how the firewalls turning out so far.(still need to finish welding it all up and get engine out to do the strip in the centre to the roof skin) and get the engine out to box the bottom in engine bay side.

i sold my corbeau forza buckets to my mate and decided im going with a set of kirkey alloy seats. main reason is fact that its a millions times easier to get the alloy seat in now i have a firewall than it was trying to get the corbeau seat out with no fire wall!

few weldin pics as everyone seems to post a fewlmao

hopefully get rest of the firewall all welded and ground back in next week, just got to get engine out now
