I'm looking at upgrading from windows xp pro x64 edition version 2003 sp2 to windows vista ultimate sp1 x64 but i'm not sure if my system would be up to scratch enough to run it 
Spec:
AMD Athlon 64 pro 3800+
241 ghz, 2.0 gb ram
The aboves what i can currently see on my system when i go into the control panel

That would run vista fine but I'd wait for 7 in a couple of months.

In the middle of downloading an RC version of the windows 7, Will give that a bash and see how i get on then maybe pre order the full version

Well thats the RC version of windows7 up and running , Very happy with the looks and speed.
Still yet to have a wee play around.
