no, because that wouldn't make sense. if he said that he may as well have said "one small step for the human race, one giant leap for the human race"

One thing I find amazing is all the lunar landing equipment pre-dates CAD, FEA and the kind of CAM we have now. Imagine what could be done now if someone were to actually put the same amount of effort as to what was put into space travel all the way back in the 60's....

I thought he actually did say "a man" but there was some interference on the sound link..

has anyone ever thought....why the fascination (sp) with space...i mean i LOVE space and evrything about it and really do believe that there is something out there...but we at the minute are in space, right out there amongst the other planets!
i know we have our atmosphere etc but surely we arent the only one in the whole universe to exist! the odds on that are too small surely?

I've got to put my 2 pence worth in here...

The americans DID actually go to the moon. The problem is that they never got to do any filming, take pictures etc etc etc. These were all faked and have been proved to be fake.

The reason they left the moon so quickly is another story all together NASA are the biggest load of lying fuckwits ever to walk the earth..come to think of it the same can be said for the american government since the day it cam intop power pretty much.If they can fake somthing like 9/11 just to go to war and get away with it then going to the moon is a piece of cake.

They have also been proven not to be fake.

How can you prove somthing to be 'Fake' or 'Not Fake' though unless you know the exact details of what your looking at?

At the end of the day experts on photography and those guys with mustaches can argue the toss all day over wether it happend or not.We will probably never know the truth because were not important enough. And the american government just don't want anyone to know anything..hence why they stopped France releasing there UFO information a few weeks back.

One day the truth will come out.I just hope it's in my lifetime and i get too see the looks on everyones faces when it does.

If they were faked the russians would have said something about it.

I love conspiracy theories, for the most part that's all they are though.

And if they made anything with modern technology i'm sure it wouldn't cost whatever May said it did yesterday, can't remember the amount.

If they did anything in this day and age though, they'd have to make it carbon neutral or some shit like that.

Was watching the Universe the other day on History HD, and they claim there's 100 billion galaxies, each with 100 billion stars. That's a pretty much infinite amount, there has to be other life out there. It's just that
fiinding people in that amount of space isn't gonna be easy.

Earth started transmitting radio waves 70 or however many years ago (not sure how long), so they've only travelled 70 light years into space, which isn't even enough to cover 0.0001% of the "known" universe.

1 lightyear = 5,878,499,814,186.5 miles

What I have always wondered is, if supposedly went to the moon 40 years ago and technology has come along sooo much why oh why have we not gone way past there and colonised the moon etc?
Seems weird that just stopped going
