I have heard of a good place in Brize Norton that do rolling road days if people would be interested. I know a couple of people would come, but would like to make sure there will be genuine interest before booking anything or anything like that.
The'yre based here, for anyone unfamiliar with the area. There are a couple of pics on this forum, if they can handle annual Mini RR days then I'm sure Corsas etc won't be a problem.
I'm going to keep a list updated here so I don't forget anyone. Also added cars so I can keep track.

I had to press minus button on the google map too many times for my liking to see the distance from my house to the RR place. And for that reason im out

Fair enough mate. Yeah it's not that far from me (someone at work told me about it) so it will be reet far for you lads down there

Usually about £35 mate Not bad really seeing as they can make sure your engine is running properly etc as well.
I will be taking deposits, though, so as to not get people not turning up.

They had a massive contract with mitsubishi mapping alot of ecu's iirc. They are a very well know company. Ring them & ask if they will host a RR day. I was going to get my car put on the rollers there in the next couple of months & if we have a RR day it would be pretty cool to go to owen developments.

7 people interested so far, it's a good start
I think that Pitstop only need 10 as a minimum going by other forums, so if we don't get enough for Owen Developments, then we could go there.

I may be interested in the Brize one if the astra is running ok, having some issues atm.
If its at Owen I will defo be interested as its much closer to home because.....
I have to be within 30 mins of home that weekend because im on standby and brize is pushing that envelope somewhat, even the way I drive!

I rang Owen Developments and they don't host days  They only do sessions. Would it be too cheeky to book several sessions in a row?

I'm thinking that we have 2 main options, and a possible third:
1) Go to Pitstop in Brize Norton.
2) Book a whole load of sessions on the rollers at Owen Developments, although it will be blatant what we're doing.
3) Find somewhere else.
It's obviously easier to go for number 1, and from what I've seen on the mini forum, you need a minimum of 10 people and it's £35 each.

i would approach both companies and confirm details.
explain you can rustle up 10 cars (i WILL have two, either Mazda and Rich's Stra or the he will drive the Nova) you is 3 that only leaves 7 to find and there seems to be enough interest.
explain the situation, looking at having a group booking and see what they say.
£35/per person i would ask if that could be dropped to £30 (unless £35 is the discounted group price) as it will be a guaranteed number and see what they say. if Owen developments dont want our custom its their loss, they can either have a guaranteed £300 on the date or go without!
we have the interest on CS just need to find a company that is interested in hosting it.
if they dont bite then we shall take the third option!

Cool mate, I'll give Owen Developments a call tomorrow and see what they say to that. I'll also ring Pitstop and make sure they'd be alright, they seem to be a good backup option.
