any 1.4 or 1.6 one will fit, though will have brackets for PAS etc, one i have is rare to find

Yeah, i had a look on Ebay to no avail. Do the brackets for PAS and that get in the way?

no, as you have eps, you need a tensioner on the alternator side, mines a z18xe one

Warren, when was the last time this had 4 wheels and an engine in place? Looks like your making good progress bringing it back together.

Do away with eps, the unit ways a lot.

have you ever weighed the engine? Would be interesting to have a real weight Vs XE weight Vs Small block weight.

Power to weight shoudl be nice. what you hoping for on the 1.8? 180-200 with around 130-150lb ft?

nope never weighted the engine, though its not in standard form anymore

hope to see 200bhp with 150-160lbft

Paint the strut brace black & Flock the speaker housing plastics etc - I no its not meant to be a show whore but without trying it already is!

strut brace will be powder coated black at some point

only money that will be spent on it now is for an oil cooler
