Because on standard boost it was too quiet, on my Punto it sounded awesome though

well its gonna have a vxr turbo tomorrow and running 12-14psi i guess

should sound okay

astra found itself a new turbo
Astra G vxr turbo cooling kit


One brand new VXR turbo

before used to go flat 5k, now just pulls to limiter! feels more laggy mind, doesnt come on boost fully until 3k,

turbo owe me £150 profit, as sold my old turbo already


this sexy bit of kit came today

engine has been checked for clearances, 2mm at tdc to cam lift

was going to bolt on head, but had no dowels




need to get some cam seals, as i cant find any, then can time the engine up

Yer second hand mods are where its at all of the mods for the civic cost me nothing and I made £100 on the airbox. Bought for £375 and sold for £475, Winner

had to cut the back cover due to the stupid pullies that rub on it

cambelt on timed up


so the spec there

Z18XE standard bore 80.47mm i think
Blocked honed, and decked
SBD metal rollers
Piper veriner pullies
Newman 288degree cams, 11.07mm lift
Ported and polished head
X16XE rods with ARP bolts
Z18XE pistons with piston cut outs
Gm cambelt
1.6 sump
modified pick up pipe

simple answer no

No engine management atm, but got some on order
need to get my rocker cover back, as moving the breather location, then get it painted

inlet manifold is being welded up and relocting brake servo take off to port no. 4 instead of 1

and thats about it!
