so 5months later, two set of pistons....oh and the cut outs arnt straight, tyical





so cut outs in the correct place this time,


also started on refurbing the gaz shocks, springs now all pretty


astra gets mopped, back to flame red - no actual pics of finished job yet though

Astra got washed, and second layer of wax put on

i even polished my exhasut tip - out rolled are coming back

calipers and discs painted silver for OE look (front only, rears il do tomorrow)




cambelt replaced last week, dump valve arrived today, all thats left to do now is fit the dump valve, and fit my aquired vxr turbo and vxr cooling kit, then complete


Needed to remove dash out of corsa, for flocking, and to remove all sounddeadening

engine bay - or just bay tbh, as lacks engine

one dash - requires flocking now

car loom! - going to remove unessary wires now

on stilts

they were supost to have had new seals

the top nut hasnt been touched - its seized and i can see the outer seal hasnt been replaced. and the rebound rate is different on each shock when both set the same, can tell phyicaly by hand!

well its getting done properly this time, as soon as the sodding machining company pull their finger out and send the quaife and crown wheel back it should be good to go

Warren, can i ask why you bought a DV. I read that they play havoc on the ZLETS, Part of me wants one but i can't bring my self to buy one for the simple fact it makes a noise

Mine ran fine with a DV26 with the standard dump valve blocked off.

It was pretty quiet as it was running standard boost and only started fluttering when the boost solenoid was on its way out.
