check the HELP MOD ADVICE section, apart from all the problems i have heard from my mates with redtops, just scrolling through should put you off a c20xe for life! Too many people bodge em . . .
Anyway, whats so bad about these engines then fad and nic barnes? DaveyLC said his one has always been spot on . . .
Also Warren looks good with the engine out! I understnad if you want to leave the throttle bodies on there for me, would be much easier for you eh

the problems people have in help zone is not related to conversion. Most would happen to engine in any car as they are an old engine often owned by clueless morons which is why there are so many threads. An x18xe1 corsa would bore me to tears. Infact so would a 20xe. Too slow.

well. . . . i see your point, but the problems i have heard of like steering rack/ dizzy cap, just dint seem worth the hassle, i need reliablitly more than anything, Not having a car for about 2 months was shit . . then having a car for a month was great! then the bottom end going afer a month was fantastic. . cant be dealing with that again

steering rack? Dont follow you there. A dizzy cap will wear on any engine. Later xe was coil pack any way. Whats the deal with steering rack you are on about as i had high power turbo in mine for years and had no beef with rack? Interested to know.
