Was wondering what decent games are out for it at the moment? It comes with : Killzone 2,Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran turismo 5 prologue.

i'll be buying COD WAW (maybe trade GT5 in for it) also that weekend get myself online etc. Might be some more questions to do with the ps3 so if people could help me out that would be much appreciated.

xbox is poo anyway, the only game you will need untill november is cod waw. maybe fifa09 too. very easy to setup online just takes a while to enter in all the details unless you have a bluetooth/usb keyboard. add me when your on tomnova

Killzone 2 and COD4:WAW and your set for several hours of entertainment.
Also GTA4 and Little Big Planet are worth a visit, depending on your preferences.

Resistance 2, Res 5, Pes 2009 are games i've been playing a lot, Little big planet is supposed to be very good

A lot of people are saying Resistance 2, but imo, for a FPS the COD games or Killzone 2 is a much safer bet.

Depends what you're into really. I never got on with the CoD series (online anyway), but I really like R2. It's got a UT feel about it.

For the majority of people, I'm sure CoD would be suitable.

Killzone 2 is over rated as is Gta4...

Fallout 3 is a nice game with a good few hours play time.

Cod 5 offers nothing over Cod 4.

Res 2 is more of a mindless shooter than the COD games, more aliens, more shooting, less thinking

I'm told Little Big Planet is a laugh, quite cheap now too.

GT5 Prologue is worth getting, also quite cheap.
Killzone 2, heard good things about this
Uncharted is definatley worth getting, the sequel is out end of year.

Played Saints Row and thought it was a cheap rip off of GTA.

Saints Row 1 or 2?

1 is dire, and far too laggy online.

There is a demo of wheel man on psn for free which you can download when you get the ps3.

Didnt seem that great, just a big empty city to drive around.

I think its stands for PlayStationNetowork.

It's sony online shop, can download wallpapers, themes, maps, addon packs, demos all types of stuff.

Yeah Wipeout is on there, so you just download it straight to your harddrive.
