Have you got a pic of it on the white cdx wheels mate?

A mate of mine has bought a white sport and is planning white cdx wheels.

Took it apart so at the blade, flip bit, battery cover came off, then spent about an hour slicing through it with a stanley knife till it split.
important because how ever well you do it depends on the outcome because you have to glue it back together along the same line.

Been a while, little update.

The corsa had a few issues, which eventually turned out to be the HG giving up
Turns out the old gasket had pited into the head and i never got the head skimmed when i had it in bits. Was told it wasnt needed because the HG hadnt actually gone, and i wasnt to know any different.

In hindsight, for the sake of paying £35 quid to get it skimmed it's probably easier just to get it done.

Anyways, shes back now and good as can be new PAS pump too so shes not rattling anymore either

Just hit 77k too but not bad for a 99 v reg

Found a quiet snowy country road, so took some pics












Then decided she deserved a well earned wash, having done all the christmas runs recently






Collinite was still holding up from when i washed/waxed it last Cracking stuff.

Plans for the year to come.

Jan - MOT. If it doesn't pass its scrapped bloody thing has had enough attention last 6 months!
Cage - need to decide if im keeping rear seats, if so, custom cage. If not, its much more simple.
- if rear seats are going, Vectra gsi seats for the front (saloon so no folding forwards)

Day off today, so decided to have a wee play with the car
Exhaust bangs like fuck on the rear beam so i did have an ARB rubber there, but the cold weather must have killed off my cable ties so started banging away again.
Spent ages trying to think of something i could use, but nothing came.

Then the gf did this on our lovely roads -






Then it came to me in bed the other night
So i stole a bit


hopefully that'll work, work well and last a lot longer!

Decided to check the coilovers out too.
Socks were filthy, worse than they look in the picture!


But inside, all was good
