nic be careful with them harnesses (or that harness) as the quick release buckles are not actually road legal, If you was going back on the road with it.

Why are they not road legal

EDIT - Actually is it because it has a prodruding lever? unlike the other ones where you have to twist a round button, which can't accidentially be undone.

went to do a bit more on car. when i got to my mates, he had a sprint hill climb race car thing in.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrJDFMx1TUs

its a c20xe. it has one of those rare as rocking horse shit worth a fortune rocker covers on so to most it probably wont look like a regular c20xe. it runs on methanol and requires a diesel heater to warm the engine up before you can start it up. crazy thing. its somewhere around 280bhp i believe.

oh and a rare thing. 1400 16v in a nova on carbs. aint seen many of them 16v engines on carbs so thought id take a picture.

sadly that race car thing makes anything i was about to do to my car seem a bit lame. but anyway......

bulkhead fittings attached into, well the bulkhead oddly enough.

manly muthafuckin spanner required to tighten up fuel filter.

all fuel lines made, tightened and connected in the back of the car. looks a bit neater than i thought it would end up. quite happy indeed with all that.

put a chair and harness in. its actually not that bad to get in and out of. a lot easier than i thought it would be anyway.

fuel pressure reg moved and mounted. and lines ran from bulkhead fittings to the rail and the return from the regulator.

not pictured was more wiring that was tidied up and sorted out. just the actual fuel pump relays, fuses and wiring to sort out then it shall run again.

thanks.

well me and slick went down to finish car off. slick got the wiring done for both fuel pumps. and as exciting news as it is, it runs again. had it runnning for about 5 mins. no leaks present yet.

will go tidy rest up on monday put other chair in and then fetch it home.

nice to hear the shed running again. made 2 videos of it. one with pump priming and other with it running. quite loud. will upload later.

thanks.
