So good you said it twice.

Watch out for chips in the screen, a sharp jolt or bang can see a chip turn into a crack.....

Bet you're glad to have two cars on the road now especially when at one point you had two cars that weren't driveable.

first absolute epic fail already.

firstly though, car really does handle a hell of a lot different. it feels way way tighter in corners and i could easily push it a lot more than i do round the back roads round here. it feels completely different to drive.

then came the fail. somewhere along the lines i must have completely forgot to put the big o ring on the fuel tank top when re fitting the cover. went to fill up in tesco to find a fuel fountain happening in the car. i did start to think something wasnt right when i was well over 40 litres gone in. twat.

so left a giant mess at tesco. had to tell the people in the shop. must happen a lot as they werent bothered. then had to go home and drain about 10 litres into jerryatric cans to stop it leaking.

what a plank

These things happen Nic,

Has it damaged any of the paint inside the car?

it didnt smell that bad as most of it was leaking out the lack of seal straight on to tank then running off the edge onto floor. Shake and vac though i will investigate if it does stink real bad. Will it be ok to apply to bare metal?

id say it will be ok to apply but the vac might scratch the paintwork?
