Not a right lot tbh the stripping it down, and mounting it on the jig, still an aprentice, and we work on bonus, so the guy i work with obv wanted it done as fast as poss to earn more pennys. So i was building up other jobs whilst he was on with this.

Thats what most people think, but in actual fact, its fuck all, its £7,500's worth of damage, but its not touched the chassis, just panels, that are easily cut off and re-welded on.

Nope, not classed as anything, To write a car off the damage must be around 60% or more of the cars value, or have completly fucked the chassis.

How much are you billing the insurance for the repair?

Not insuarance
Being paid for cash, its a company car and they have a daft excess like £10k or something, so its costing £7,500, so its cheaper to pay cash, than pay the excess.

they all go like that. weve got 5 car o liners, only one computer tho
damn expensive to get repaired also. we needed a new measuring arm, cost 4k
bolts for the clamps are around 100 odd quid which we need a couple of sets a year..

5 :O lol weve just got the one like that, then a small quick pull system, still only one comp though. We got a new battery for the measuring arm, was about £500 lmao!! We just have normal clamps for general cars, where they bolt to the sills, then stuff like this BMW, we hire them from caroliner.
