1.2 Corsa belt driven, i can find the marks on the cam and housing but not on the lower pulley, is it on the flywheel or somewhere else? Thanks john

Not extremely sure, but have you tried taking the bottom pulley off and looking at the cam pulley behind it (if there is one?)

or you could put number 1 piston to tdc

is it the 8 v engine if so theres a notch at the top on the timing belt rear cover which the cam mark lines up 2 and the crank pully lines up to the pointer on the rear timing belt cover if ya look at it like a clock its at about2 o'clock and once the crank pully is removed the timing mark on the sprocket should be at 6'oclock lined up wiv a slight notch on the rear cover

if you look very carefully at the end pulley theres a tiny notch in it on the lip. lines up with a ridge on the cover at about 2 oclock.

on mine i just took the lower pulley off and the timing mark was behind it, as 20valver said you could also put no1 piston to tdc if you were having trouble finding the timing marks that is

i agree 20valver is a bit of a plonker but seting number one piston to TDC is one way it can be done if you are struguling with timing marks.

I mod my car by fitting a VXR turbo, afm, injectors, dv26d dump valve

Dont even talk to me and try to ustify filling your airbox with filler
