If you had bothered to read it you'd see that it runs on a 1ghz proc with 1gig ram, you obviously didn't though.

Netbooks weren't big sellers back then.

As long as I have to compile stuff to install it in linux microsoft can make windows as bloated as they want.

I'll either run an older version, like xp that runs on anything from the past 10 years or i'll upgrade and run the latest one.

I'd assume any machine capable of running vista is capable of running 7, vista machines are years old now, I don't see the issue with them requiring better hardware, people don't complain about games needing 300 quid graphics cards

I'm looking forward to 7, might wait for another couple more builds to pass before trying it out though.
