Out in the wet tonight. Windows got covered in really thick steam. Was readyy annoying as i kept having to go over with my squeegie every few minutes. Any treatment i can get for the windows to stop/reduce windows Steaming up? I'm sure I saw something at my local Vaux Garage.

they have loads of misty stuff in halfords. go check them out. forgot what they're called though.

run some shaving foam of your screen, and rub it off with a cloth - apparently it works wonders, although you need to apply it once a week etc

Change your pollen filter. Also check for water leaks.

My windows didnt steam up ONCE! Until I sat in the car for about 10 minutes without ignition on, they steamed up that day, and have done it ever since Why is this?

Ensure that the air is comming direct from outside, NOT re-circulating as that causes the windows to steam. Slide the slider across if you gets me, I bet its that or as others say a leak.

I just whack it on hot and stick the a/c on, works a treat in my corsa..

Have it lukewarm, and have the blowers on number 2, move the vents towards the windows, shut off the middle one and have it on the blower blowing on the front screen.

does it steam up when the blower is on warm?? mine did this, it turned out to be a dodgy heater matrix, it wasnt too hard to change either,

u got built up moisture, just open up all the doors for a couple of hours on the next dry day.

Sounds like the pollen filter needs changing, it's abotu £3 from a motorfactors, you take the slam panel off (the fornt wipers bit) then below is a plastic sheild, remove this and you'll see the filter, swap it, if it gets wet then air being sucked in gets a moist and nasty.
