trust me iv replaced a few fucked tensioners on them now!

its the same as the z16xep but with vti basicaly

I think its the transducer.. got a another one from Adam on here but cant be arsed to go out into the cold to fit it

finally modernised my poverty spec dash lol!



I dont normally care about things like this but I striped a late spec corsa on sunday that had an MFD, later gearstick etc.. and I found the clock rings floating about in my stash of parts.. I have NO idea why I had them as I've never owned a corsa before this one.

I've got a spare block.. going to strip it down and examine the crank, if its sound when i've built it up my engine, loom etc. will be for sale.

I stripped down my spare X18XE1 lump today... Bottom end failure lump i got for nowt.. No1 piston has been making contact with the head because the big end was so worn.. doh!

I'm thinking about going down warrens route, turbo charging would give me more tuning potential but im concerned about reliability, lag and cooling issues.

hopefully there will be a few companies making pistons soon! (standard bore) then just need 1.6 rods and got a bullet proof engine

On the look out for some C16XE/X16XE rods now and a 1.8 piston as one of mine is missing a few pieces lol..

Did you know the 1.8 K series has an 80.50 bore too.. Wonder how big the gudgeon pin hole is? The turbo version has forged pistons.
