Do you know how to wire it in?

Things like the Z18XE has a fly by wire throttle, not a cable.

I all depends what was on the 1.2 tbh - if it was an F13 or F15 as I imagine, I don't see it being a problem, but I don't know for definite if the bellhousing is the same between the boxes so I don't know if it physically will fit on.

What gearbox is Warren using?

Yes but surely using a 1.2 gearbox wll not be suited to the 1.8 engine, making it useless?

mo this conversion is useless, ur gona have the weight of a 2 litre block and the power of a 1.6, so it wont handle that well like the 2litres and it wont go as quick hence the reason people dont really use these engines, tbh for wat you want mo i would 1.6 8v it for reliability and shove some bike carbs on it for ur power

its a small block? what will be the weight difference?? i really cant afford a c20xe tom i just know it, plus realiability is a issue and petrol and conversion costs. for some reason i want a 16v i dont know if its the fact that they are smoother and have peak bhp higher up in the rev range.

noo lol, thats one of the main reasons i want it, because its the small block engine.

1.6:
Performance
Engine Size 1598 cc
Cylinders 4
0-60 mph 9.5 s
Power Output 104 bhp
Valves 16
Torque 148 Nm 109 lb-ft
Top Speed 119 mph

1.8:
Engine Size 1796 cc
Cylinders 4
0-60 mph 8.0 s
Power Output 123 bhp
Valves 16
Torque 165 Nm 121 lb-ft
Top Speed 126 mph

and imo for the price im paying i would pay roughly the same for a 1.6

f17 are all the same difference is that new corsa c use haudralic clutch and that can be easily remove to a normal clutch ones or use a 17cr/15cr gearbox direct from a B

Its a smallblock, and yes, the F15 will fit.

Why not discuss all this with Warren? Seeing as he is fitting it for you, I think it would be much easier to talk to him about costs etc.
