Where is the cheapest place I can buy these from?

Are they just a direct replacment for the orignal ones?

prob ebay will be the cheapest, but i would get them from chris astley for the sake of an extra couple of quid,

they are a direct replacement, you get instructions with them if you need them.

No there not. You need to countersink the rod bolts.

They dont have any on ebay, So do they need modifing or not

They are the rod bolts.

Yes they are direct replacements however you have to slightly countersink the bearing caps to allow for the chamfer on the underside of the head on the arp's. Thats what dean meant.

The 8v ones are the same as the 16v ones.

And yup, thats what I meant by countersink.

Whats the advantages of the bolts? Are they nessesary?

See around the hole it goes in, kind of like when you countersink wood for a screw to sit flat. Thats what needs to be done.
