but that will not be accurate, the poundage of a spring changes the ride height drastically so the whole process of cutting the spring becomes irrelevant.

what you need to do is measure the height of the car at present and send the springs to Vsport along with the required ride height. They will then get a progressively wound spring that will give the correct poundage and ride height desired. They did mine and they were perfect first time.

loads of people comment on chopping springs and say its f*cking stupid etc..

but ive done it on 3 of my escorts in the past and the only thing thats wrong with it is its a little bouncy, but ive never had any of them fall out etc and ive given the car death with them in and im still here to talk about it...

the the people that mock and say bad things about them have never owned a car with them on..
