ive got an aftermarket oil pressure gauge for my car which has a sender unit with it but the thread is too small to fit anywhere in the engine (the grub screws on the back of the block rounded off). can u use an oil presure sender unit off the c20let with my gauge?

there is a place that sell's thread adaptor's,google it.im using an oil pressure sender from one of our generators at work.it has 2 terminals,so it will run both the oil light(on the dash)and my guage.the thread size you need is m14 1.5 pitch iirc.

not sure either tbh.but would have thought any sender will run any guage as long as it's electronic.

how many terminals has it got?usually the one you get with a gauge will just be designed to run the gauge.
