Welcome You could probably pick up a semi-decent 1.2 8v for £500. Lowered on a tasteful set of alloys and you can be onto a winner

Sounds like how done mine mate. Got my corsa just after my 16th birthday. I went for a bog standard merit and built it up to how I wanted it over time ready for when i turned 17.

£500 should get you a half decent 1.2 8v LS or similar. Try and get one as new as possible, Have a good look on autotrader for ones in your local area

TBH your best getting a mechanic to go and look at it with you.

He'll tell you if its worth it.

Have to agree with cb87 here. Looks like it needs a fair amount of work and you dont know how bad it is until you strip it down. As already said dont rush into it mate.

Keep checking the likes of autotrader, pistonheads.co.uk etc
