yeah they are not that bad to do just need a set of ribe sockets for certain stuff it has no variable cam timing so its fairly strait forward

Yes 90 in 3rd a doddle 
Nah robin the garage are saying no compression in chamber 4 and since putting it in they are telling me it wont even start

My VTR used to do 60 in 2nd 90 in 3rd 115 in 4th unny got it to 110 in 5th though
I dont thing these VAG`s are as well made as everyone says TBH

Just because you can do X amount of speed in a low gear doesnt prove anything, just means you have long ratios

Still in the garage, still not starting.
They said that after I took it in they took out the leads and plugs and cleaned them, then when they restarted the car it went for 5 seconds and died. Never started since.
