hi all in process of putting c20ne engine into my corsa i no it aint a redtop just wanted something differant from the knorm
basicly after bit of advice regarding the mounts my corsa is r reg with fluid type powersteering and its body type 2 was told that the redtop mounts are the same but bough the front gearbox mount and it line up with chassis holes but not the front of f16 can any one tell me which set of mounts i require

i use to have a c20ne in my corsa with f16 gearbox and use standard gearbox mounts

Why have you bought a gearbox mount? The only copnversion that needs one is if using an F28 box. Use the original Corsa gearbox mount.

was only a quid lol how come all the kits have the front gearbox mount if not needed which drivers side mount will i need then ?

I have never seen a kit with a gearbox mount, other than the F28 one.

I knocked this up for Boosha a little bit back so it may help;
You can see what would be the black mount at the front of the picture.
The mount that is blue in the link is the inner wing mount which is hidden by the front panel in the picture.
The silver one is the rear mount spacer and the 2 blocks are for lowering the tiebars.

What who has said?
Basically he is attempting to fit the O/S mount to the N/S of the Corsa as I believe the 2 vertical holes for the rubber mount are equidistant on each side.
Basically he is trying to mount this face to the gearbox when it fits against the block on the drivers side...

now it all makes sence thanks for the guys just that the above mount looks the same as nearside front mount hence tried fitting their lol hopefully should fit now then still need and extra mount for powersteering do i not ?

Yes.
The PAS mount fastens on the same side as that above engine mount, just below it!
