I'm trying to sell my motorbike just now to fund a new car. wrong time of the year to be selling but hopefully I'll get it shifted.
thinking about a 1.6 16v corsa B.
I have had a 2.0 16v and 2.0 8v corsa and I think I wanna tune a 1.6 next.
I was thinking along the lines of,
throttle bodies
cams
verniers
4-2-1 manifold
full exhaust system.
surely that would take me to C20XE power??
what about torque?
also I was thinking about looking into getting a remap with a raised rev limiter, what other parts would i need to uprate to handle this??
what sortof power are we talking?

If you had throttle bodies, you couldn't have a re-map as it would need to be run on standalone management and mapped properly.

what do u mean?
dont u get standalone management with the trottle bodies? I thought u did, cant that management be mapped to raise the limiter?

Throttle bodies are just the bodies.
Then you need inlet and all the other stuff including management.
Dave A does them as a complete kit. Includes everything you need.
It's not just a case of bolting them on, they need to be set up properly.

sorry my fault here, when i said throttle bodies i did mean the full kit.
will i be able to get it mapped then?

If so, what internal parts will have to be uprated to cope with the extra stress?

yes, and ARP rod bolts + SBD cambelt rollers will give you a bottom end good for about 8000rpm.
RobHayes ran his STANDARD bottom end to 7800rpm with no trouble.

I would like a turbo'd motor, I would also love to have a throttlebodied car too lol.

That wont leave much change out of 2 grand straight away, if buying new 
For a track car, fair enough id prefer NA.
But for road, i'd go turbo tbh.
And how would a tb'd motor be more reliable? Higher revs=higher stresses unless you go spending hundreds on forged rods etc.
Keeping a turbo'd lump at a sensible boost level, it'll be fine. And you can keep a standard rev limit.
Plus you get the all important torque increase that small block engines always lack(well most of them anyway) 
And i guarantee, more power than Na.

ok ok, but have you looked at the costs!
Decent parts cost a fortune, then theres the fitting (if you can't DIY) then theres the mapping.
I priced it up for about a week, was like 3K+

Aye, it costs, but you get more for your money.
As with a lot of things you can do it MUCH more cheaply. Skim the std pistons to reduce CR etc, use Megasquirt management, cheap 2nd turbo etc etc.
Id guess that you could have it running for £1500

Reducing the crown width, unleashing a non-hardened surface, use a cheap form of management that appeals to the home bodger (something this guy has said he isn't) using a 2nd hand turbo which could be an utter lemon and isn't suited to the purpose (you forget a custom manifold etc)
To be honest, what he has listed initially if paying someone else to do would be in the region of £3k anyway IMO.

on that spec around 165 depending on cams.
