Just wondering if it possible to make a Corsa B rear wheel drive and how much are we looking at to carry it out?

yes it can be done. would need a very long driveshaft or the better option is to make a full cage for the engine to sit in the rear and power it that way

very long drive shaft?? wouldnt you use a prop shaft? thik rear engine would be safer easier and cheaper

Cheers for the replies guys, just thought a rear wheel drive corsa would cope better with a LET with RWD.

It's been done with a C20XE Rally Corsa...engine mounted transverse.
Its been posted on here a few times, maybe someone will have pics...was bright yellow with a funky air intake in the bonnet

Sierra rear suspension and diff, sierra halfshafts, sierra gearbox, C20XE/LET, adaptor plate for XE/LET to gearbox.
Then it's all about the fabrication of a tunnel, some mounts and some rear suspension framework.
