im 100% unsure of what that means. there is a wireless router thing, plugged into computer downstairs, which then runs mine and the ps3. i did the speedtest on the computer downstairs. the router is plugged into the phone line then into a converter box ting then into the phone socket if that helps?

nothing has been changed

demon is ADSL,

all i know is that ADSL is shit in my experience, very slow downloads etc, because it is up to 8mb, which doesnt mean you get 8mb, it will run most likely at around 1mb,

i was with BT as i said, but i managed to get out of the contract agreement and go with virgin broadband, who use a cable which goes straight into the computer, giving you the speeds they say

only helpful if you're in a cable area though and if you can be arsed to change

ADSL speeds depends on ur exchange and how far away from it and how overcrowded it is but anything under 512 kb is ridiculous try testing it with everything unplugged from the router and ur pc wired straight in. Cables better as it doesnt depend on your distance from the exchange but u can still suffer slow speeds if the exchange is overcrowded,.

im not in a cable area, just put post code in that virgin thing.

orange BB will be ADSL and as said above, how far you are from the exchange and also how many peopl are using it affects your speeds

on an 8mb connection but i usually get 3/4mb max due to being so far from exchange
my latency is quite high, probably due to me using wireless
