Well Having abit of a ICE sort out, Im getting rid of my 6"x9"s speakers and just having a standard shelf.
Ive got some Alpine Type E Door Speakers, but Im sure there at the bottom of the Alpine scale, Ive heard that Alpine Type R is the best range they do so Im looking at getting them.
Im Looking at getting this as its in my price budget.
Alpine Door Components
I just wanted to know if this is what i should be looking at getting, Ive got a new custom boot install going in this week running 2x12" subs with both having 1500w peak power.
I know this is just going to give me the bass Im after, so all I want to know is if these components will give me a decent enough sound upfront.
Also wanted to know is it best to run these speakers off an amplifier or leave them running off the headunit.
Thanks in advance
Adam

Yea I had some Alpine Type E's in my old 106 and one of them blew
I think Type X is the best of the range IIRC.. although it's pretty costly type R's are nice though... it all depends on how loud you are wanting your system?? if you are wanting something which is extremely loud then running it off a seperate amp is probs the best option....
what headunit do you have btw?
