Hey all i'am planning to take my silly black trims off the outter sides of my doors. I wanted to find out a few things before i removed them is the body work underneath dented in, will it leave horrid marks or holes if screwed in (ofcourse i will respray once taken off). Or is it just easier to spray them blue

It will only leave marks if it pulls the laquer off with the stickyness. Other than that, it might be a bit of a different colour underneath.

They also tend to leave marks on the door that are a complete twat to get off, from experience

Just use the heat to get the rub strips off.. and if you're re-spraying then just sand the rest off when you do the prep work

will do i did put a thread of my crashed corsa a while back everyone called it a shed lol, but it's cumming alon now just got my new bumper, bad boy bonnet, side skirts and side panels sprayed which all look nice. My bonnet is on just needs a good polish. But will defo put another thread up soon.
