Aparently Mintex tried some re-branding a while ago and started calling there 1144 compund pads mintex extreme, it didnt really work out for them so they dropped the extreme brand. Bagged these off ebay with a little help from some chap over on vx220.org.uk for for half the normal price of a full set of 1144s, but there supposedly the same material, woop!

Also hoping to get some Gaz coilovers off ebay really soon, so the funky diffuser will have to wait a while.

as long as it sticks out the back of the car a bit and the car is lowered yes. It makes it more stable above 80mph. With out it the air coming out the back of the car is sucked upwards around the bodywork and makes things a bit iffy at high speed.

like so-

Finally got round to doing the plots that show the effects the best

Flow Velocity Vectors without Diffuser

Flow Velocity Vectors with Diffuser

You can see that a diffuser that exits away from the car stop the flow going up the back of the car and creating lift.

It also shows how high you have to mount a rear wing in order for it to get clean air flow.
