the missing coilover turned up this morning so on with fitting them! im amazed at how easy it was, 8 bolts for the whole car once the wheels were off! No pring compressors, no stupid hard to reach bolts, its was fucking ace! anyway -

shiney

old shit

woop

they go really low!

and all done! car looks really strange here, like i have stretched the pic. crazy.

gonna give it a wash later and go take some pics with a certain Evo 7

The fitting of them springs sounds like my kind of car

Looks smart in the last picture - may be a bit too low for my liking. Does being that low necessarily mean it'll handle well?

Yeah im not sure if i like the way its sat, might bring the back up a touch. In theory the lower the centre of gravity the better the handling, wether and inch or so difference on an already really stiff car makes any noticable difference i not sure.

Forget all this chav business, we were lowering cars to make them handle better long before they came along. Do all the major sports car manufacturers worry that their latest low slow sleek model looks a bit chavvy? No. If it works and has a purpose, how can it be chav?
Car is looking ever more awesomew BTW!

Because any cars I see around here have it slammed to the floor and it looks completely pointless. I also can't see how it makes the handling better. Like they say with a Corsa B, the best height for handling isn't necessarily the lowest. I'm sure it will perform great that low, I just said 'looks'.
