walls ready to plaster once new large kitchen window gets fitted

ceiling almost done

all lights now fitted including new outside lights and security lights

still does not look like much has been done but totally rewired, new gas and water pipes, new floor, joists, ceiling, walls, switches, windows, doors so far!

yeah mate all this time messing about "behind the scenes" and still looks 90% the same to most folks!!

not ONE THING has been untouched in the kitchen, luckily the other rooms only need a redocorate (besides bathroom) and new windows/doors

Taking advantage of January slaes to get most of the fixtures and fittins in

Great stuff, I remember crawling around at one of our old houses when I was about 11 as I was small enough to get under there and move around easily doing the wiring

Exactly, just completely gutted my lounge/dining room, ripped lathe and plaster ceilings down stripped out blown plaster re wired new plaster skirting architrave new limestone fire surround uplighters bose speakers etc etc people dont appreciate all the hard work that goes into it.
Is very rewarding once its all done though and you can enjoy it/reap the profits
