I know the guy really well and he has been over to our house a few times since we said we would buy it. He just does not have the time to clean it out. I have piled up anything I think is of any value for him to look at, but he said he does not want or need anything in the house at all.

As it is the house joined onto my parents, we park 2 cars on the drive every day and have done so for about 5 years. No one has ever approched us for any reasons and I feel 100% safe goin into the house.

It's not hard to trace people to where they have moved to anyways

I have been in the house many times since I was like 1 year old. I have lived to the house joined onto it for 24 years. We have never heard or seen or heard of anything freaky like that lol

yeah tell me about it, luckily we have a trailer so we can slowly take it all to the skip. just need to plan what wood we need to finish off the kitchen floor this weekend so we can start walking on it!

So long as I get it classed as "livable" then I can get a mortgage, then gut the place big time and start new.

How fookin strange that someone would just up and leave with no word on why.

Why dont you ask about his circumstances? just to be nosy like.

IMO you can never have enough money though

If i was rich i'd be buying property to let out as something to do rather than work.

I think he started to do it up, relaised how big a job it was, then moved elsewhere lol

There is a lot of work to be done, but it's getting there

there is no way you could live there AND do it up at the same time

Yeah I reckon that too, thats why the flooring was ripped up or he is on the run from someone (look out for a stash of drugs somewhere ) or as someone as mentioned its haunted and the ghost recked the place
Either way looks like you got a bargain
