I didn't buy them, I was given them for my 18th, with the plate itself.

Nearly forgot, fitted a new indicator relay today, as the old one was obviously for a car with 3 lamps per side, mine only had 2, and it was flashing too fast.

So, £6 later, I have indicators which flash in the right way

Just bought some new pedal rubbers

and I'm bidding on an inlet for my new engine, which will make the conversion 100000% easier hopefully.

If I don't win it, I'll be spending £60 on the poly bushes I need for the wishbones, and £100 on a quickshift which will sort the gear lever sloppiness out

Cheers Chris

The only problem is the bits adding up in cost as well as looks

Anyway, I've just bought some new wishbone bushes and a set of these.

Sorted the manky old pedal rubbers today.

They used to be like this, the clutch one was split and the brake one was worn.

So, as the new ones arrived, I put them on

old and new

new ones on

much better.

Indicators still aren't here though

Indicators arrived today

I've now got 3 sets, I've become a parts whore, I'll have to get a pic of everything I've acquired in the time I've had the car at some point

So I stuck them on the car

Also had 2 other packages, but they've gone to the post office and I can't get them 'til tomorrow, they must be the stripes and the bushes.

Go white Graeme, white is the new black, loads of people are after Alpine white GTIs at the moment because they're so rare.

Jake, I thought it would, good to see I'm not the only one
