This has probably been asked a million times but cannot be arsed to look for it. anyway wats the best and cheapest ways to get some gains on a 1.4 16v sport?

A 1.6 for a start.
But if you cant afford the conversion/insurance, you're best getting inlet/exhaust and go from there depending how much you're wanting to go.

at 19 i dropped a 1.6 into my 1.4 corsa. It cost and extra £20 insurance for the 1.6 or it would cost aounf £50 extra for inlet/exhaust which woul be same performance as the standard 1.6
