Looks different to mine, which is an X14XE head (with a bit of porting)

The bit above the 5 dots on the exhaust side is different.

What does yours say where mine has R90400185?

My exhaust and inlet ports aren't standard sizes, so that;d be no good

You use the same part for the inlet gasket too, but the ports are different

as far as I know, any part with the prefix letter 'R' means its a replacement part.

but the actual numbers dont relate to a replacement c16/x16/x14xe head

All 'R' heads that come from vaux, wether they are to replace the x16/c16/x14xe one are all supplied as x16xe items. Personally I would just get it skimmed, pressure tested and fitted, if you are worried about the port sizes measure them accurately and post the sizes up, will see if its an x14 or x16 item then.
