Me and my dad keep getting electric shocks off his car when we go to shut the drivers door..? I belive the valtage is pretty high and its hurts like fuck and makes a loud noise when it happens ... im suprised there isnt any sparks  
Anyone know what it could be?

Do you wear anything synthetic (sp): socks tops etc. Probs just a build up of static.
Is it jus the drivers door?

Just the drivers door, and it happens all the time whenever we close it.. although if i close it pushing on the window it doesnt happen

still sounds like static, window wont conduct hence no shock, be careful at petrol stations

you need to fit an earthing strap which drags the floor to stop it from doing that
