try replacing all the HT leads, then see if the problem still occurs 
my previous car was mis-firing like a bitch, i replaced all HT leads, and it ran fine

vavler? So you have put a C20XE engine in and you dont know how to check whats wrong with it?
I'd say its an ignition problem which means
HT leads
Plugs
Coil
But could be many other things TBH

sorted! cheers everyone (bar dave!, only joking mate) it was ht lead, some how it had sort of snapped, the wire came out the end of the connector!

mine is doing the same ive ordered ht leads but i dont think they are the problem
