Hi people

Realy im registering for the Mrs, as Im a true VW lover. She has a 1.2 corsa B on a S plate, few mods here and there (im sure she will provide pics when she gets in from work).

15" Wheels
Pioneer head unit

Few other bits

Anyway, ive changed oil and filter,spark plugs. As shes only had it a few months, but sometimes the power steering goes and ignition light comes on, and some times cuts out. This can be at any rev range, moving or not. Any ideas with common problems with them? Fan belt fine, so my next gues was alternator bearings or somthing sticking?

Also is it a 8V or 16V? I cant work it out, its a S plate.

Does it say ecotec on the engine cover?

yeah. take a pic of engine? (doesnt have a cover) Someones just said all petrols after 1997 were 16V, true?

yeah if you could. Some may have the 8v's if i remember reading. Il get a pic of my 1.2 8v too

Also as you can see im doing plugs, leads and cap, can anyone send a pic like this, cos i forgot to see where they go (firing order) what a plank!!!!

I work on £100K race bikes and never done this, but a corsa and i screw up, great.lol

Is it worth doing this ecu thing and finding fualt code? If so which is mine, Ie. il know if some one can say 16v or 8v please. thanks
