Has everyone else hit the limiter in there car maybe now and then?

I never ever do in my car, I dont know what it is but something tells me limiter = the end of the engine. Although there really isnt any need anyway.

Not intentionally, but it has happened once or twice.

in theory you should be able to hit the limiter whenever you like....

as its there to prevent the rpm raising to high.
oil starvations the problem which usually causes death of engines

Anything past 6.5k in my car and your slowing yourself down so I dont see the need to go anywhere about it.

Must be a chav thing, I might let you off if you have no rev counter aha

Obviously at such high rpms the bottom end is going to be taking some abuse

I think I maybe hit the limiter once in my corsa. Thats probably it though.

When some chav test drove my S1 when it was for sale he did shortly after going out of my road, I really wasnt happy. I said there was no need and his response was, 'You gotta give it some now and then, fuck tha police'

In my yellow car, the limiter was too low, the power was still coming when it got to it, so it happened quite often in that.

We all know X16XEs are good for 8.5k anyway

You could bounce a car off it's limiter for a week. It wouldn't break the engine.

Just about everytime i'm out in my corsa

It sounds sooo good.

Plus if a m8 is behind me, i'll do a smoking burnout so he can't see then shoot off
